Rolly Polie Bread and Butter

A unique take on a dessert classic!


  • 12 White crustless bread slices .
  • Raisins
  • Cinnamon 
  • 3 Eggs 
  • 1 Cup Cream 
  • Vanilla Essence 
  • ½ Cup sugar
  • ½ Cup melted butter


  1. Grease oven proof baking dish thoroughly  with butter.
  2. Then line with grease proof paper. Cut crust off  bread.
  3. Roll bread thinly with a rolling pin.  Brush with melted butter then sprinkle some sugar, cinnamon and raisins on bread.
  4. Cut in half then roll into a spiral shape facing up.
  5. Lightly beat eggs cream and vanilla together then pour  over bread. Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown.
