Baker's Inn Long Service Awards

At Baker’s Inn Bakeries, a big part of our success has been our passionate and hardworking staff. Our story begins with our team that has been instrumental in creating Zimbabwe’s beloved brand that has become synonymous with premium local loaves. To celebrate our treasured staff, we recently held our annual Long Service Awards to thank our long serving staff members on 11 February at Cresta Lodge for Harare and 12 February at ZITF for Bulawayo.


The intimate ceremony celebrated employees across departments and this year we had re-cipients from our administration, canteen, production, finance and sales departments. The heart-warming event consisted of speeches from our esteemed guest speaker,  Mrs Chipo Ndudzo (MD – Providence Human Capital), followed by distribution of awards and con-cluded with attendees mixing and mingling over food and drinks. 

Over the years, we have never underestimated the power of a great team. Teamwork is one of our core values and it’s vital that every player in our team is recognised for their hard work. The awards are particularly special to us because they honoured employees that are an integral part of the Baker’s Inn Bakeries family, that have been with us for 10, 15 and 20 years! We are fortunate to have staff members whose many years of dedication, commitment and loyalty have helped create our world-class company. These awards are a token of apprecia-tion for the part they’ve played in making Baker’s Inn Bakeries a world-class company. As the famous words by Henry Ford state, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
