Easy-Peasy Meatballs

These meatballs are delicious and very easy to make. The breadcrumbs aid in binding the mixture together, as well as add a beautiful aroma to the meatballs. You can enjoy them as finger foods or as part of a main meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. Baker's Inn Homemade Breadcrumbs
  • 450 g Lean Mince
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 small egg
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 4 tbsp. barbeque sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Method

  1. Get your ingredients together.
  2. Put all the ingredients for the meatballs into the bowl, save for the cooking oil and barbeque sauce.
  3. Give a gentle mix until well combined. Take a tablespoonful of the mixture and roll into a ball. Place onto a platter.
  4. Repeat process until all the meatballs are formed. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 min so the flavours in the meatballs can marry.
  5. Heat oil in pan, fry until browned.  Drizzle the barbeque sauce over the meatballs, ensuring an even coating on each one. If using, sprinkle the sesame seeds. Enjoy!
